New year

It is late but happy new year! It is the year of our Lord 2026, this year I just really want to grow and improve as a person and strengthen my relationship with God. This year I will up my revision because I want to do good in college, however unsure what I will do after college, we will see next year.

Birthday

Since my last post I have had my birthday, I am 17 now and it feels weird being this old, as a kid I always thought how it would feel like being older, well I found the answer, life keeps going and slowly you get more and more responsibilities.

Education

Right now I am on half term break, this college course is going really fast it is kind of scary seeing how fast the course is going, I am trying to start a Christian group/club at my college, I do hope at least one other person would care to join, however thanks to secularism and the devil the College have used bureaucracy as an excuse not to allow the club, right now it is in limbo. I have teamed up with the Muslims to try get this club going (since the Muslims want time to pray at certain times) and hopefully at some point the college would allow this, I do not see the harm in allowing religious expressions, all these colleges pander and support minorities and people who need it which is good, but when it comes to people who hold a faith suddenly everything goes quiet.

Leather work

Even since my last post I have gotten into leather work, I specifically want to get into binding books, so far I have only bound one book, I did this while volunteering at the Walsall leather museum. The people at the leather museum are amazing and I do hope that the museum does not get closed and the pleas of the people of Walsall are heard.

Translations

For the longest time I looked for 'the best translation' possible of the Bible, I did all of this research and I came to a firm conclusion, there is no one best translation and that instead of vainly looking for this best translation one should use more then a singular translation of the Bible. The reason for using more then one translation of the Bible is to prevent translator bias and translator mistakes, this allows us as Christians to get a firmer image of what the original languages that form the holy scriptures try to convey to us. However if I did how to choose the best translation of the Bible it would be an interlinear Bible with English aids, so you are able to see the original language with the English equivalent.

Lent

I will not publish what I have given up or days of fast here for that would be arrogant. I will say that this is my first lent and I do most heartily hope and pray that I am able to grow as a Christian, learning and growing in the true faith of our Lord Jesus Christ who died for all of our sins. Sadly I do feel as of this year I have been a bad Christian, however I want to be better; God is always there for us when we have an open heart and truly sorry.

Misc

I will do my best to keep my website up to date and maybe write some bits of theology in the articles section! For now thank you for reading, God bless you all!
